The ThermTec Ares 2.0 660 thermal imaging device is equipped with a highly sensitive 12µm detector with a resolution of 640 x 512, a high-definition OLED display 1024 × 768. The ThermTec Ares 2.0 660 allows you to see through obstacles that interfere with the detected target and accurately measure the actual distance to the target. In addition, you can easily connect to a mobile application for real-time viewing and sharing of results.

Thermal sensor

The thermal imaging module is built on a modern vanadium oxide sensor VOx 640x512, 12 μm. The high threshold of thermal sensitivity NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) <20 mK has improved the quality of the thermogram and its information content. Operation in the 8-14 nm range corresponds to the transparency window of the Earth's atmosphere, so fog, dense smoke, rain or heavy snowfall are not an obstacle for observation of thermal imaging optics. The module operates at a frequency of 50 Hz, allowing comfortable observation of moving targets.

Optics

The ThermTec Ares 2.0 660 device is equipped with a unique germanium lens with a diameter of 20/60 mm. The viewing angle is up to 21.7 ° x 17.4 ° / 7.3 ° x 5.9 °, multiplicity 1.1x / 3.2x. The width of the field of view in linear terms will have a value of 38.4 x 30.7 m / 100 m (12.8 x 10.2 m / 100 m). To zoom in on the image, the Digital Zoom option is also available, operating in increments from x1 to x4.

Color Palettes

It has 6 different color display schemes to solve a wide variety of tasks. Contrasting palettes of white and black colors will help at long distances when searching and identifying. Color palettes with warm shades are optimal at short distances during long-term observation and determining trophies.

Picture in Picture

When the PiP (picture in picture) mode is activated, an additional smaller window with an enlarged central area and the currently used reticle will appear on the main screen. Small sizes do not interfere with visual control of the situation. Using this image, it is much easier to aim the weapon and determine trophies.

Reticles

Seven reticles allow you to solve any problem when hitting at the full range of distances. Available in 5 reticle colors (black, white, red, green, blue).
