Thermal imaging device Ares 2.0 650L

The ThermTec Ares 2.0 650L thermal imaging device features a highly sensitive 12µm detector with a resolution of 640 x 512, a high-definition 1024×768 OLED display, and an AI/laser rangefinder that provides a clear view at long distances in poor visibility or even in complete darkness. The ThermTec Ares 2.0 650L LRF allows you to see through obstacles that interfere with the detected target and accurately measure the actual distance to the target. In addition, you can easily connect to a mobile application for real-time viewing and sharing of results.

Thermal sensor

The thermal imaging module is built on a modern VOx 640x512 vanadium oxide sensor, 12 μm. The high thermal sensitivity threshold NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) <18 mK improved the quality of the thermogram and its information content. Operation in the 8-14 nm range corresponds to the transparency window of the Earth's atmosphere, so fog, dense smoke, rain or heavy snowfall are not an obstacle for observation of thermal imaging optics. The module operates at a frequency of 50 Hz, allowing you to comfortably observe moving targets.

Optics

The ThermTec Ares 2.0 650L device is equipped with a unique germanium lens with a diameter of 50 mm. The viewing angle is up to 8.8 ° x 7.0 °, the multiplicity is 2.8x. The width of the field of view in linear terms will have a value of 15.4 x 12.3 m / 100 m. To zoom in on the image, the digital option Digital Zoom is also available, working in increments from x1 to x4.

Color palettes

It has 6 different color display schemes to solve a wide variety of problems. Contrasting palettes of white and black colors will help at long distances during search and identification. Warm color palettes are ideal for short ranges, long-term observation, and trophy detection.

Picture in Picture

When you activate PiP (Picture in Picture) mode, an additional smaller window with an enlarged central area and the currently used reticle will appear on the main screen. The small size does not interfere with visual control of the situation. This image makes it much easier to aim equipment and determine trophy status.

Reticles

Seven reticles allow you to solve any problems when hitting at the entire range of distances. 5 reticle colors are available (black, white, red, green, blue).

When the target appears in the field of view, simply turn on the Ares 2.0 in 3 seconds, which provides fast and accurate adjustment. Set the desired auto-off time and take advantage of the energy-efficient design that extends battery life.

Rangefinder

Our improved compact laser rangefinder accurately measures the distance to a target at 1000 m. Now half the size of the previous model, it integrates seamlessly into the housing for fast, accurate measurements with an accuracy of ±1 meter at 100 meters.
