HikMicro Stellar SX60L 3.0 is a third-generation thermal imaging device released in 2024. The older model of the Stellar 3.0 series combines a high sensor resolution of 1280x1024 pixels and a revolutionary temperature sensitivity of less than 18 mK, providing maximum image clarity. A powerful lens with a diameter of 60 mm and a magnification of 2.5x to 28.5x allow you to detect targets at a distance of up to 3100 meters. An extra-large OLED display (1.03 inches) with a resolution of 2560x2560 pixels and various color palettes make visualization flexible for any conditions. The device is equipped with a laser rangefinder built into the lens with a measurement distance of 1000 meters with an accuracy of ±1 m. The functions of video recording with sound, freeze frame, automatic hit recording and hot spot tracking are supported. 64 GB of memory allows you to store data, and power from built-in and replaceable batteries provides up to 9 hours of operation. The device is protected according to the IP67 standard and withstands impacts up to 1000g.
Sensor and image
The HikMicro Stellar SX60L 3.0 thermal imaging device is equipped with an ultra-modern Vox Ceramic sensor with a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels with a pitch of 12 microns, which provides high clarity and image detail. The frame refresh rate of 25 Hz guarantees smooth display of moving objects. Thanks to the impressive temperature sensitivity of less than 18 mK, the device is able to effectively detect thermal signatures even in the most difficult conditions.
Optics and range
The model is equipped with a powerful 60 mm objective lens with an aperture of 1.0 and offers variable magnification from 2.5x to 28.5x (in 1x steps), which allows you to adapt to different hunting scenarios. The field of view at a distance of 100 m is 25.6 by 20.5 m, and the detection range reaches 3100 meters. Manual focusing on the ring allows you to precisely adjust the sharpness of the image.
Laser rangefinder and distance measurement
The device is equipped with a class 1 laser rangefinder with a wavelength of 905 nm, which accurately measures distances up to 1000 meters with an error of ±1 m. The rangefinder module is built into the lens and supports measurements at a distance of 10 meters. The optimized ballistic system automatically calculates the tilt compensation, helps to adjust to the trajectory and type of bullet, which significantly increases the accuracy of the hit. In addition, the ballistic calculator allows you to customize the color and style of the expected impact point.
Multimedia and functionality
The device has a number of useful features, including a built-in video recorder and microphone for recording video with sound. The internal 64 GB EMMC memory allows you to store a large number of media files. The device supports the access point function, which allows you to send data to other devices. There is also a standby mode, a freeze frame and the ability to automatically record the hit. The "Picture in Picture" function and the ability to track hot spots help improve the accuracy and speed of the adjustment.
