The Primary Arms GLx 6x not only improves shot accuracy at longer distances but also compensates for the main weakness of red dot/holographic devices — difficulty delivering precise fire at extended ranges.

The ability to rapidly adapt a rifle for distant targets, combined with the relatively low cost of a magnifier (compared to a rifle scope), has increased magnifier popularity among sport shooters, soldiers, and hunters. A magnifier is a convenient and effective solution for shooters who normally rely on true 1× magnification from a red dot/holo device but want to zoom in on distant targets on demand.

The device body is made from anodized aircraft-grade aluminum with high resistance to shock and corrosion. The tube is nitrogen-filled and thoroughly sealed, making the optics resistant to fogging (internal condensation), weather, and recoil. The optics provide fixed 6× magnification and a field of view of 5.8 m / 100 m. The image can be adjusted vertically and horizontally and finely focused using the diopter. Covered turrets are discreetly recessed into the tube so they do not obstruct the field of view. The device uses high-quality multi-coated optics that significantly improve contrast and light transmission for excellent image quality.

The Primary Arms GLx 6x mounts to a Picatinny rail via a Flip-to-side mount, allowing rapid attachment of the magnifier to a red dot device and quick flipping aside. Thanks to the convenient, intuitive flip mechanism, bringing the magnifier in line with the red dot device and stowing it to the side is instantaneous and can be done one-handed. The kit includes a spacer that enables mounting at absolute co-witness or lower ⅓ co-witness heights.
