The magnifier is mounted between the red dot device and the shooter’s eye, providing a more detailed image. The Vortex magnifier not only facilitates aiming at longer distances but also increases the capabilities of a standard red dot device by 1×. The ability to quickly adapt the rifle for shooting at longer ranges combined with the relatively low cost of the magnifier (compared to a scope) makes it especially popular among sport shooters, soldiers, and hunters. Vortex Micro6x – 6× magnifier

The Vortex Micro6x body is precisely made from aviation-grade anodized aluminum with high resistance to shocks and corrosion. The tube is filled with nitrogen and fully sealed, making the optics resistant to fogging and weather conditions. The Micro6x magnifier has a flip-up Cam Lock that allows rapid raising and tilting of the optics. Cam Lock works under direct pressure, so attaching the magnifier to the red dot device and flipping it aside can be done quickly and easily with one hand. Thanks to the adjustable flip ramp, the magnifier can be adapted for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The Vortex Micro6x uses high-quality lenses with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, providing bright and sharp images across the entire field of view. The 28 mm objective provides 6× magnification and a 6.3 m / 100 m field of view.
The optics have vertical and horizontal adjustments, as well as a focus ring for precise image centering. Recessed turrets do not block the field of view or interfere with gear.

Vortex Micro6x – 3-height mounting options

The magnifier uses a QD mount for Picatinny rails, allowing installation and removal in just a few seconds. Micro6x is compatible with various red dot and holographic devices thanks to three height mounting options: absolute co-witness 37 mm (from base), lower 1/3 co-witness 40 mm, and high 49 mm using a riser. Micro6x is recommended for use with AMG UH-1, SPARC SOLAR, and Strikefire II devices.
