The 2BME 2BME031 mounting plate enables the installation of popular red dot sight models on the Beretta APX A1 pistol. It is compatible with Trijicon RMR, Trijicon SRO, Holosun 407C, Holosun 507C, Holosun 508T, and Redwin COBRA 1x26x22.

2BME – Polish mounting plates for red dot sights

The mounting plates are designed and manufactured by the Polish company TBME (Two Brothers Military Engineering), which uses high‑quality DMG‑Mori CNC machines in production. TBME plates are dedicated to pistols that are factory‑prepared (or gunsmith‑modified) for installing red dot sights directly on the slide.

The bases are made of aerospace‑grade 7075‑T6 aluminum, making them extremely durable and very lightweight (approx. 8 g depending on the model). The plate is finished with MIL‑SPEC hard anodizing, which provides increased resistance to scratches and wear. Anodizing strengthens the aluminum surface and protects it from oxidation. TBME mounting plates stand out not only for their durable finish and perfect fit to the firearm but also for allowing an extremely low optic mounting position.

Thanks to the use of measuring probes, the plates are precisely dimensioned and perfectly matched to the factory slide cut. To ensure stable and reliable optic installation, the plate uses the “Quad Lock” system of interchangeable steel inserts, which allow the use of strong multi‑thread screws (excluding models mounted on a dovetail). The set includes all components necessary for installing a red dot sight: four top‑quality A4 Torx screws made of stainless steel, a tube of thread locker, and installation instructions.

For mounting the plate and the optic, it is recommended to use a medium‑strength thread locker (included) and a torque wrench set to 1.2 Nm. Before final installation, it is advisable to mount the complete plate (with threaded inserts) and the optic without applying thread locker. This ensures that the plate is properly matched to both the optic and the pistol.
