Vortex Sparc Solar is Vortex’s first reflex sight to feature AUTO D-TEC solar technology, delivering up to 150,000 hours of operation!

The Vortex Sparc Solar is designed for long‑gun applications — including AR15 rifles, semi‑automatic shotguns and PCCs.

Changes compared to the classic Sparc model:

• smaller, lighter design — only 167 g;
• solar‑assisted power with AUTO D-TEC;
• run time up to 150,000 hours;
• operates from a CR2032 battery;
• motion sensor that reactivates the sight after automatic shutdown (after 14 hours);
• expanded dot adjustment range — 100 MOA vertically and horizontally.

Lightweight construction

The sight body is precision‑machined from aircraft‑grade aluminum. Shortening the chassis reduced weight — the sight with mount weighs just 167 g.

The Vortex Sparc Solar maintains a stable zero, is parallax‑free, and its unlimited eye relief makes it suitable for hunting rifles, AR platform rifles and semi‑auto shotguns.

Optics

The sight uses lenses with multi‑layer anti‑reflective coatings applied to all air‑glass boundaries. This yields high light transmission, a clean, contrasty image and eliminates parallax error.

Optimal aiming dot

The aiming mark is a 2 MOA red dot, adjustable up to 100 MOA vertically and horizontally. Each click of the adjustment drum moves the dot by 1 MOA.

The 2 MOA dot does not obscure the target, making it suitable for both precise and dynamic shooting. Brightness offers a wide range: 10 daylight settings and 2 night settings (NV compatible).

Controls consist of two flat buttons for power/brightness and exposed adjustment drums for dot position.

AUTO D-TEC solar technology

The Sparc Solar features dual power: a monocrystalline solar cell (primary) and a backup CR2032 battery.

With Auto D‑TEC, when solar illumination is insufficient the sight automatically switches to the CR2032 battery.

In most daytime outdoor scenarios the Sparc Solar will run solely on solar power. The hybrid system enables up to 150,000 hours of operation at brightness level 6.

Long runtime is further extended by the motion sensor which powers down the sight after 14 hours of inactivity and places it into sleep mode.

Waking the reticle requires only moving the firearm. If the sight was turned off manually, the motion sensor will not reactivate it.

Included accessories

The package includes lens covers, a multifunction Torx wrench, a cleaning cloth, a CR2032 battery, and two mounts: a high 1/3 co‑witness mount for rifles and a low mount recommended for shotguns.
