Preparation

Before cleaning your Shield Sights device, remove all dust and particles from the lens to avoid scratches. It is recommended to use compressed air to blow away dirt instead of wiping the lens.

Cleaning

The best method is to use warm water with mild soap or dishwashing liquid. Using a cotton swab dipped in the solution, gently wipe the lens surface. Use each swab for a single pass only, replacing it after each full rotation to avoid spreading debris. Start from the edges and move toward the center. This method is suitable for both glass and polymer lenses.
