The sight body is precision-machined from 7075 aluminum. The device is lightweight and durable, weighing only 42 g. The sight base is built to the popular RMR mounting standard. Compared to the previous version, X2 features a new horizontal button layout, reported by most users as more convenient. The X2 also includes Lock Mode, which disables the buttons to prevent accidental setting changes. It has IP67 protection, making it resistant to weather conditions and temporary water immersion. The aluminum body is hard-anodized for increased scratch and wear resistance.

The sight incorporates the innovative ACSS Vulcan aiming system.

How the ACSS Vulcan reticle differs from a classic red dot or red dot with circle

ACSS Vulcan revolutionizes reflex sight aiming. Instead of a standard red dot, it uses a chevron (inverted V) for fast target acquisition and accurate long-range shooting. The chevron is supported by a large circle (optional) to quickly center it on the target. If the aiming point is lost, the circle edges provide visual guidance to instinctively correct and reacquire the target. The ACSS Vulcan reticle offers a noticeable advantage over mechanical sights for rapid long-distance shooting.

Solar power

The sight is powered by a CR1632 battery, providing up to 20,000 hours of operation at brightness level 6. Additionally, the Solar Failsafe panel supports the battery under strong light (sun or artificial), automatically adjusts the reticle brightness, and acts as a backup in case the battery is depleted. Users can choose automatic brightness or manually adjust it across 10 daytime and 2 nighttime settings.

Battery-saving system

The impressive up to 20,000 hours runtime is enabled by the Shake Awake system, which automatically powers down the LED when the firearm is idle. The reticle reactivates when the firearm is moved. Users can define the delay time before entering sleep mode.
