The reticle offers 8 daytime brightness levels and 2 night-vision compatible settings. Illumination is powered by a common CR2032 coin cell. To extend battery life, the manufacturer uses a ShakeAwake motion-sensor controller that automatically turns off illumination after extended stillness. Illumination instantly reactivates upon movement of the weapon, allowing continued use without additional user actions.
