Prismatic device is a specific type of aiming device that combines the advantages of a red dot and a riflescope. The AT3 Tactical Prism Scope provides:

Like most prismatic devices, the AT3 Tactical 3XP features an etched glass reticle, so it remains usable after battery depletion or electronics failure. The design allows more advanced reticle configurations than simple red dots. This model uses a BDC cross calibrated for .223 Rem, enabling elevation holdovers for specified distances.

The device housing is made from anodized aluminum, providing high durability at low weight. Using a suitably high Picatinny mount allows convenient placement over folding mechanical sights. In case of device failure it can be quickly removed and the backup sights used immediately.
