Air rifle PCP Optima by Hatsan Galatian III Carabine QE 6.35 mm

The Hatsan Galatian III TH (thumbhole) carbine is a modern and precisely manufactured multi-shot air rifle (16, 14, or 13 shots depending on caliber) of the PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) type with impressive shooting capabilities.

The Galatian III model features several interesting solutions that provide greater shooting comfort, high shot accuracy, and an increased level of safety during operation. The Galatian model is especially recommended for airgun enthusiasts who prefer various modifications or tuning.

The rifle is equipped with a large removable aluminum compressed-air cylinder that allows from 80 to 180 effective shots depending on the level of modification. Accurate shooting is ensured by a rifled barrel finished with a 1/2" UNF external thread, allowing installation of a sound moderator, recoil compensator, or separator.

The magazine is made of lightweight yet durable aluminum. Galatian series air rifles are distinguished by their high magazine capacity. Depending on the caliber, magazines hold 16 rounds (4.5 mm), 14 rounds (5.5 mm), or 13 rounds (6.35 mm).

The ergonomic stock made of durable polymer features a shaped thumbhole (TH). The buttstock includes a Monte Carlo cheekpiece that facilitates proper shooting position and aiming. The stock is designed for both right- and left-handed users, and the lower part includes an additional slot for a spare magazine. The buttstock design allows full adjustment of the buttpad length and cheekpiece height using screws. The rifle is equipped with mounting rails compatible with 11 mm and 22 mm (Picatinny) standards, allowing installation of any optical device.

The Galatian series is equipped with several technical solutions that increase user safety:

Quattro Trigger – a two-stage adjustable trigger mechanism (adjustable trigger pull weight and trigger travel), allowing individual trigger tuning for improved accuracy and easier shooting.

TruGlo – open fiber-optic devices with contrasting fiber colors allow accurate shooting even in low-light conditions. The front device is red, and the rear device is green, with vertical and horizontal adjustment.

Manual safety – protects against accidental discharge.

Anti-double-pellet feed – a mechanism preventing more than one pellet from being loaded into the barrel.

Anti-Knock System® – a patented system preventing compressed air loss in case of mechanical impact.

The pellet fired from the rifle reaches a velocity of up to 145 m/s.
