Optima by Hatsan BullMaster 5.5 mm PCP Air Rifle is a modernly designed PCP bullpup carbine featuring an automatic pellet cycling system, a choked barrel, and a stock with an adjustable cheek rest. The stock is finished in a military Flat Dark Earth color.
Air rifles produced by the Turkish firearms manufacturer Hatsan have been popular among shooters for years thanks to the capabilities they offer within their price range. The Optima by Hatsan brand provides the same excellent price-to-quality ratio, which directly results from the production solutions used by the manufacturer. Hatsan’s extensive manufacturing capabilities allow every component to be produced in a single factory, ensuring that the rifles are built from the ground up under the close supervision of Hatsan specialists.
Features of the Optima by Hatsan BullMaster PCP air rifle:
The Optima by Hatsan BullMaster rifle features a futuristic stock made of polymer resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions. Thanks to the bullpup design, the rifle is shorter and more maneuverable while maintaining a long barrel and an optimal sight line. The ergonomic stock includes a dedicated pistol grip, an ambidextrous thumb-hole stock, and two ports for carrying spare magazines. The pistol grip and fore-end feature anti-slip texturing to maintain full control of the rifle. The Hatsan BullMaster has two Picatinny rails allowing the installation of optics and a bipod, as well as sling mounting points. The stock has a ventilated rubber butt pad for comfortable support and an adjustable cheek rest for better alignment with optics.
The rifle is equipped with a precisely rifled 500 mm barrel finished with a choke (constriction), which in a long barrel ensures better pellet guidance and sealing in the bore. The floating barrel is protected by an anodized aluminum sleeve that prevents oxidation and hardens the surface.
The Optima by Hatsan BullMaster is powered by a fixed 500 cc PCP air cylinder. A fully filled cylinder allows for approximately 120 shots. Thanks to the built-in pressure gauge, the user can easily monitor the pressure and remaining air supply. The rifle uses self-indexing 12-shot magazines that automatically cycle after each shot. This solution is extremely convenient and allows the shooter to focus only on trigger control and the aiming process.
The rifle’s high accuracy is partly due to the adjustable two-stage Quattro Trigger. The user can independently set the length of the first stage and the trigger pull weight, allowing tight and satisfying shot groups on the target even after short training. The rifle is equipped with two safety systems:
The set includes a rich accessory package: 3 magazines (12-shot), a Quick-Fill charging connector, and a durable polymer transport case.
The pellet fired from the rifle reaches a velocity of up to 200 m/s.
