Air rifles produced by the Turkish firearms manufacturer Hatsan have enjoyed popularity among Polish sport shooters for years thanks to the capabilities they offer within their price range. The Optima by Hatsan brand provides the same excellent cost-to-quality ratio, directly resulting from the solutions used in the production process. The manufacturer’s extensive capabilities allow every component to be produced in a single factory, ensuring that the air rifles are built from scratch under the careful supervision of Hatsan specialists.
Features of the PCP air rifle Optima by Hatsan Barrage 4.5 mm:
The Optima by Hatsan Barrage 4.5 mm rifle features a futuristic stock made of reinforced polymer. The ergonomic fore-end includes a distinct pistol grip, a symmetrical thumb-hole stock and two slots for carrying spare magazines. The grip and fore-end are equipped with anti-slip checkering for full control of the rifle. The rifle has two Picatinny rails for mounting optics and a bipod, as well as sling attachment points. The stock can be adjusted to the shooter’s build and preferences thanks to the adjustable butt pad and cheek rest, allowing modification of the length of pull and cheek position depending on the optics height.
The rifle features a precision 500 mm rifled barrel finished with a choke, which ensures better pellet guidance and sealing inside the barrel. The floating barrel is protected by an anodized aluminum sleeve that prevents oxidation and hardens the surface. The Optima by Hatsan Barrage is powered by a fixed 500 cc compressed air cylinder. When fully filled, it allows for approximately 100 shots. Thanks to the built-in pressure gauge, the user can easily monitor pressure and remaining air supply.
The PCP air rifle Optima by Hatsan Barrage uses self-indexing 14-shot magazines, with automatic reloading after each shot. This solution is extremely convenient and allows the shooter to focus solely on trigger control and aiming. The rifle is equipped with fiber optic sights, which can be removed and replaced with a selected optical device if needed.
High accuracy is achieved, among other things, thanks to the adjustable two-stage Quattro Trigger. The user can define the first-stage travel and trigger pull weight, allowing tight and satisfying grouping on target after a short training session. The rifle is equipped with two safety systems:
The set includes: three 12-shot magazines, a Quick-Fill probe, a rifle sling and a polymer transport case.
The pellet fired from the rifle reaches a velocity of up to 250 m/s.
