Optima by Hatsan Alpha 4.5 mm is a lightweight spring-piston air rifle with an ergonomic traditional-style stock and an integrated sound moderator.
Air rifles produced by the Turkish firearms manufacturer Hatsan have been popular among Polish shooters for years thanks to the capabilities they offer within their price segment. The Optima by Hatsan brand offers the same excellent price-to-quality ratio, which directly results from the solutions used in the manufacturing process. The manufacturer’s extensive capabilities allow every component to be produced in a single factory, ensuring that the air gun is created from scratch under the careful supervision of Hatsan specialists.
The carbine features a precision rifled barrel by Hatsan Arms, 370 mm long, finished with an integrated sound moderator that significantly reduces firing noise without decreasing energy or balance. The spring is cocked using the classic “break-barrel” method, widely regarded as the most convenient and practical solution. The Anti Bear-Trap Safety system protects against uncontrolled spring release during cocking, eliminating the risk of hand or facial injury.
The polymer traditional-style stock features a profiled pistol grip covered with texturing to ensure a secure hold and full control of the carbine. The symmetrical Monte Carlo stock with a raised cheek piece allows comfortable shooting for both right- and left-handed users.
The fore-end and grip feature aesthetic checkering that improves grip and enhances the rifle’s design. The ventilated rubber butt pad effectively absorbs recoil energy and provides a stable support point.
TruGlo fiber optic devices make aiming easier and faster, especially in bright sunlight. The 11 mm rail allows installation of a selected optical device.
One of the carbine’s greatest advantages is its light weight of 2.3 kg, making it suitable even for younger shooting enthusiasts. A manual and automatic safety protects against accidental discharge.
A pellet fired from the carbine reaches a velocity of up to 250 m/s.
