Diana XR200 5.5 mm is a PCP carbine fully manufactured in Germany and designed for demanding airgun users.
The rifle features an ergonomic wooden stock. Rubber panels with anti-slip texture are applied to the pistol grip and the fore-end, significantly improving the grip. The rifle weighs only 3000 g, making it comfortable even for younger shooters and women. The Monte Carlo stock with an adjustable cheekpiece (vertical adjustment) allows the use of various optical devices and provides a comfortable shooting position for both right- and left-handed users. At the end of the stock there is a soft rubber buttpad that ensures comfortable and stable shoulder support.
The rifle is equipped with a precisely rifled Lothar Walther barrel with a length of 548 mm, which significantly affects accuracy and shot consistency. The inner barrel features an integrated compensator that reduces the sound of the shot and stabilizes the pellet after firing.
The Diana XR200 5.5 mm is a multi-shot rifle thanks to a rotary aluminum magazine with a capacity of 14 pellets. After insertion, the magazine is magnetically secured. A side lever is used for cocking and can be mounted on either side of the rifle. The cycling action is smooth and light, allowing the shooter to reload without taking their eyes off the target. In addition to the 14-shot magazine, the set also includes a magnetic 2-shot insert. It ensures proper pellet feeding into the chamber without the risk of deformation or jamming. For shooting, it is recommended to use only diabolo pellets with flat or round heads.
The Diana XR200 is powered by compressed air stored in a steel cylinder with a capacity of 280 cm3. A cylinder filled to the maximum pressure of 200 bar allows up to 150 shots with a muzzle velocity of 245 m/s (energy up to 16 J, 806 fps). One feature that distinguishes the Diana XR200 from other PCP rifles is the innovative placement of the pressure gauge. Unlike standard PCP rifles, the XR200 pressure gauge is located on the side of the rifle and faces the shooter. The gauge can also be rotated to either the right or left side of the rifle, creating an exceptionally convenient and safe solution.
The rifle is equipped with an Alatros pressure regulator that delivers constant pressure to the firing valve and eliminates muzzle velocity fluctuations. In practice, this means a consistent number of shots with nearly identical velocity. As a result, the rifle shoots very consistently and the air supply is used efficiently.
The Diana XR200 features a two-stage adjustable trigger mechanism with a pull weight of ~500–700 g. The trigger is smooth with a short pre-travel and a clean break, which significantly improves shooting precision and repeatability. Safety is ensured by the hammer lock. The pellet chamber includes an 11 mm rail for mounting an optical device base. The rifle comes with a durable transport case with foam padding.
