Smith&Wesson M29 4.5 mm 3" is a CO2 air revolver that is a faithful replica of the predecessor of modern Magnum revolvers — the M29 model, which became famous thanks to the “Dirty Harry” film series starring Clint Eastwood.

Classic Magnum revolver

The revolver has a heavy construction made entirely of metal (frame, inner barrel, cylinder) polished to a high gloss. Only the grip panels are made of wood‑like material that emphasizes the classic style of the revolver.

Licensed Smith & Wesson markings are placed on the barrel and frame. The air revolver features a 3" barrel, making it best suited for shooting at short and medium distances. The Smith&Wesson M29 uses mechanical sighting devices in the form of a fixed front sight (with a contrasting insert) and a rear sight adjustable vertically and horizontally. The classic style of the revolver is emphasized by a gently profiled grip with anti‑slip texturing.

Rotating cylinder loaded with cartridges

The revolver features a realistic loading mechanism that effectively imitates the mechanism of a Smith & Wesson revolver. The system consists of a rotating cylinder and metal cartridge replicas into which steel BB pellets are inserted. After inserting 4.5 mm BB pellets into the cartridges (1 BB per cartridge), the prepared cartridges are loaded into the 6‑shot cylinder. After firing, the cartridge replicas can be pushed out of the cylinder using the ejector, just like in the original. The cartridges are reusable, but for greater convenience it is worth purchasing additional ones.

Impressive shooting efficiency

The revolver is powered by compressed carbon dioxide supplied from a 12 g CO₂ capsule. The fired BB pellet reaches a high muzzle velocity of about 120 m/s, allowing accurate shooting at distances of over 30 m. Loading and replacing the CO₂ capsule is simple and takes only a few seconds. Simply slide the grip aside, place the capsule in the grip, and tighten it using the key permanently attached to the grip panel. The revolver features impressive shooting efficiency. Using a quality capsule, you can fire up to 160 shots with consistent muzzle velocity. It should be remembered that the number of shots is most affected by air temperature and the shooting pace.

SA/DA trigger mechanism

The revolver uses a double‑action SA/DA trigger mechanism, which means the shot can be fired either by self‑cocking or after manually cocking the hammer. During transport or carrying, the trigger mechanism can be locked using a manual safety (cylinder release) located on the left side of the frame.
