Colt Python 2,5" 4,5 mm BB CO2 is a pneumatic replica of the legendary Magnum .357 revolver, powered by a CO2 capsule and capable of firing diabolo pellets and BB's steel balls.
The revolver features a solid construction made mostly of polymer. Key components such as the inner barrel, trigger, hammer, and aiming devices are made of metal, ensuring reliable and long-lasting use.
Thanks to the combination of these materials, the revolver weighs only 518 g, which means the airgun can be comfortably used by women and younger shooters.
The airgun features a 2.5-inch (63 mm) barrel, making the revolver best suited for shooting at shorter distances.
The Colt Python 2,5" 4,5 mm BB CO2 uses mechanical aiming devices consisting of a fixed front sight and a rear sight adjustable vertically and horizontally.
Rubberized grip panels with anatomical finger grooves provide shooting comfort and a secure grip.
All mechanisms such as the trigger, interchangeable cylinder inserts, hammer, and safety are precisely fitted and offer a smooth operation.
The revolver is designed to fire two types of ammunition: classic 4.5 mm diabolo pellets and 4.46 mm steel BB's.
The set includes two magazines: one (metal) designed for lead diabolo pellets and the other (polymer) for steel BB's.
This functionality makes the airgun suitable for both precision and dynamic shooting. It is worth noting that each magazine holds up to 10 pellets, ensuring a high rate of fire and comfortable shooting.
During shooting, the magazines rotate automatically, just like in a real revolver.
The revolver is powered by compressed carbon dioxide supplied from a 12 g CO2 capsule. The fired diabolo pellet reaches an initial velocity of about 100 m/s (BB's ~115 m/s), allowing accurate shooting at distances of up to 30 m.
Loading and replacing the CO2 capsule is very simple. Just slide the polymer grip panel, place the capsule into the port, and tighten it using an Allen key.
The mounting key is permanently attached to the grip panel, so it is always with the airgun, avoiding the common problem of forgetting the tool needed to replace the capsule.
One capsule allows for approximately 60 shots with consistent muzzle velocity. It should be remembered that the air temperature and shooting pace have the greatest influence on the number of shots.
The revolver uses a classic SA/DA double-action trigger mechanism, which means the shot can be fired either by self-cocking or after manually cocking the hammer.
During transport or carrying, the trigger mechanism can be locked using a manual safety located in front of the hammer.
