Black Ops Soul Rhino 4.5 mm is a silver‑colored CO2 air revolver that shoots two types of ammunition and is a faithful, fully licensed replica of the Chiappa Rhino revolver.
The air revolver is manufactured by the Taiwanese company Wingun, which in cooperation with Chiappa Firearms and BO Manufacture developed an excellent replica distinguished by realistic weight, dimensions, manual operation and compatibility of the sighting devices with the original firearm.
As a result, a CO2 air revolver was created that features all the characteristic elements of the Chiappa Rhino design:
The revolver features a heavy construction made almost entirely of metal, ensuring reliable and long‑lasting use. Only the grip panels are made of polymer, faithfully imitating the wooden grip used in firearms. Thanks to this design, the air revolver weighs as much as 1100 g, almost the same as a loaded firearm revolver. The model uses a 5‑inch (127 mm) barrel, which provides good accuracy even at longer distances. The Black Ops Soul Rhino 4.5 mm uses fiber‑optic sighting devices consisting of a fixed front sight and a rear sight adjustable vertically and horizontally. The realism of the design is emphasized by the fact that the revolver’s sighting devices are compatible with firearm versions. Like the original, the air revolver has a hexagonal cylinder, a cocked firing‑pin indicator (internal hammer) and a ventilated high‑profile barrel.
As in the original, the grip has a smooth profile, a high undercut and textured side panels that ensure a comfortable and secure hold.
The revolver is designed to shoot two types of ammunition: 4.5 mm Diabolo pellets and 4.46 mm BBs. Instead of a traditional magazine, brass cartridges are used for loading, resembling real firearm ammunition. After placing a Diabolo pellet or BB in the rear of the cartridge, the shells are inserted into the cylinder chambers. This functionality makes the air revolver suitable for both precision and dynamic shooting. Thanks to this, there is no need to choose between a BB airgun or a Diabolo pellet airgun.
During shooting the cylinder rotates automatically, just like in a real revolver. A side lever is used to unlock the cylinder.
The revolver is powered by compressed carbon dioxide supplied from a 12 g CO2 cartridge. The fired Diabolo pellet reaches an energy of about 3.5 J, allowing accurate shooting at distances of up to 30 m. Loading and replacing the CO2 cartridge is very simple — just remove the polymer grip panel, place the cartridge in the port and tighten it with an Allen key. The installation key is permanently attached to the grip panel, so it is always with the air revolver, avoiding the common problem of forgetting the tool required for cartridge replacement.
One cartridge allows approximately 60 shots with consistent muzzle velocity. It should be remembered that the number of shots mainly depends on air temperature and the shooting dynamics.
The revolver uses an SA/DA trigger mechanism with an internal hammer, meaning that firing can occur either in double‑action mode or after manually cocking the hammer. Behind the rear sight there is a firing‑pin tension indicator that informs the shooter about the weapon’s readiness to fire. This solution results from the fact that, unlike classic revolvers, the Chiappa Rhino fires from the lower chamber of the cylinder while the actual hammer is located inside the grip. In this case, the external hammer serves only as a lever used to cock the internal hammer.
