Air pistol Umarex HPP 4.5 mm BB CO2

Umarex HPP 4,5 mm BB is a compact air pistol powered by 12 g CO2 capsules and featuring a full metal construction with an efficient Hi-Power drive system. The pistol is equipped with a Blow-Back slide recoil system that operates after each shot. It stands out for its excellent fit and finish, as well as its substantial weight (823 g), resulting from its heavy metal construction. Only the grip panels are made of polymer. The slide is serrated at the rear for easier cocking. A universal 22 mm accessory rail is located under the barrel.

Steel BB magazine

The Umarex HPP features a slim metal magazine with a capacity of 15 round BBs in 4.5 mm caliber. Loading is facilitated by a special follower tab that allows it to be pulled downward. It is worth noting that round BBs, unlike Diabolo pellets, do not deform easily even under pressure, making them safe for use in high-capacity magazines.

Sighting devices and mounting rail

The Umarex HPP is equipped with mechanical sighting devices, including a fixed rear sight and a front sight with a white marking for easier alignment. The pistol frame features a 22 mm Picatinny rail for mounting additional shooting accessories such as a laser target marker, flashlight, or Mantis-type training system.

CO2 gas power

The pistol is powered by a 12 g CO2 capsule mounted in the grip. Compressed carbon dioxide propels the BBs at velocities up to 130 m/s, enabling accurate shooting at distances of up to approximately 20 m. The implemented Hi Power system is responsible for increased shot efficiency, allowing up to 150 consistent shots from a single capsule. The total number of shots depends on ambient temperature, shooting pace, and proper maintenance of the air pistol.

Blow-Back slide system

Gas power makes it possible to use the Blow-Back system, responsible for realistic slide recoil after each shot. The noticeable and dynamic kick provides a shooting experience similar to a firearm. After the magazine is emptied, the slide remains in the rear position. Magazine replacement, slide operation, and the firing process also replicate firearm mechanics.

Trigger mechanism

The pistol features a DAO (Double Action Only) trigger mechanism, allowing shooting exclusively in self-cocking mode. The main advantage of this solution is simple and intuitive handling, making the Umarex HPP 4.5 mm an excellent choice for beginners in airgun shooting.

Safety features

For transport or storage, the pistol can be secured using the external slide safety located on the right side of the frame.
