Smith&Wesson M&P9L Performance Center Ported 4.5 mm CO2 is a modern CO2 air rifle featuring a blow-back recoil system, interchangeable grip backstraps, a metal ported slide, and raised sights.
What distinguishes the Smith&Wesson M&P9L Performance Center Ported 4.5 mm CO2:|
The air rifle features a durable construction with a heavy metal (fixed) slide and a polymer frame, replicating the design of the original M&P9L PC. As in the original, the pistol has a modular grip with interchangeable backstraps, high-profile sights compatible with a red dot device, and a frame with a 22 mm accessory rail for mounting a flashlight or laser aiming device.
Ports (porting) have been made on the sides of the slide, which not only reduce its weight but also provide a higher rate of fire and smoother barrel return to target. The realism of the air rifle is enhanced by a “stainless steel” metal barrel and a visible recoil spring guide rod. The pistol grip features anti-slip texturing, ensuring a stable and comfortable hold. Thanks to the interchangeable backstraps, the grip size can be easily and quickly adjusted to the shooter’s hand (2 additional backstraps included).
The frame features an enlarged “beaver tail” to promote a consistent high grip. The air rifle is equipped with high-profile sights with contrasting white markings. This allows for faster sight alignment, easier target acquisition, and shooting in low-light conditions. Firearms and military enthusiasts will appreciate the licensed Smith&Wesson markings applied to the rifle.
The air rifle is powered by a 12 g CO2 cartridge installed in the magazine. Compressed carbon dioxide propels the BBs at velocities up to 115 m/s and enables accurate shooting at distances of approximately 20 m.
A quality CO2 cartridge allows for approximately 60 consistent shots. This number depends mainly on air temperature, shooting pace, and proper maintenance of the rifle. It should be remembered that a pierced CO2 cartridge should not remain in the rifle for more than 48 hours. After this time, it should be removed or discharged. Installation and replacement are very simple and take only a few seconds. After placing the cartridge in the magazine, simply tighten the pressure screw using the included Allen key.
CO2 power made it possible to use a strong blow-back system responsible for realistic recoil after each shot. The noticeable recoil creates the impression of shooting a real firearm. After firing all BBs from the magazine, the slide remains in the rear position. Magazine replacement, reloading, and the firing process closely replicate real firearm mechanics. This functionality guarantees great fun while also allowing safe shooting practice.
The metal magazine, removable from the grip, holds 15 rounds of 4.46 mm BBs, best suited for recreational shooting at reactive targets, cans, bottles, etc. Thanks to the convenient placement of the magazine release button, larger-handed users can release it without changing their grip. The magazine follower can be locked in the lower position, allowing gravity-fed loading directly from a container. Unlike lead pellets, BBs do not deform under pressure, making them safe for use in high-capacity magazines. The rifle features a DAO (double action only) trigger mechanism, allowing firing exclusively in self-cocking mode.
Smith&Wesson M&P9L PC 4.5 mm BB CO2 is a solid air rifle with realistic construction and authentic manual operation, perfect for both shooting training and recreational shooting.
