Optima by Hatsan Striker Edge Vortex 4.5 mm

Optima by Hatsan Striker Edge Vortex 4.5 mm is a strong pneumatic carabiner with a broken barrel, in which the Thumb-Hole sediment, fiber optic swimming instruments and VORTEX gas spring fiber reducing and the accuracy.

The Optima by Hatsan brand offers the same excellent cost ratio that directly results from the solutions used in the production process. The manufacturer's enormous capabilities allow him to product each part in one factory, thanks to which the windbreakers are created from scratch under the watchful eye of Hatsan specialists.

Modern polymer bed

The rifle settlement is made of durable polymer with a matte finish, which is resistant to mechanical damage, weather conditions and moisture. Maintenance and cleaning of plastic bed is limited only to maintaining in general cleanliness and sporadic use of silicone oil. The symmetrical Thumb-Hole body has a grooved pistol grip with a thumb space, which has a positive effect on comfort and control over the carabiner.  The jet formed after a shot is effectively absorbed, thanks to the use of a ventilated rubber footer, also responsible for a stable backrest.

Comfortable charging

The spring is stretched by classic "barrel fracture" , the methods most often used in spring winds due to convenient and simple operation.  The carabiner shoots diabolo in a 4.5 mm caliber , loaded directly to the barrel.  The charging operation is facilitated by a polymer protective collar, on which a bow tie was also embedded. The carabiner uses the Anti Bear-Tap protection, which prevents premature release of the spring during its stretching.

VORTEX gas spring

In the Optima by Hatsan Striker Edge Vortex , the VORTEX gas spring is used, responsible for high work culture, reduced jet and better accuracy. The Vortex Gas Piston system is based on a pneumatic cylinder, in which a gas mixture was used instead of a steel spring.

At the time of pressing the trigger, the compressed gas sets a piston, which responds to the compression of the air and the shot. Vortex provides a stable initial speed of the shot and significantly longer the life of the pneumatic system compared to the standard piston-clearing system.

The most felt effect by the shooter is the smaller recoil and the weight of the carabiner, lowering vibrations and the sound of the shot, and the less effort associated with stretching the barrel. Thanks to such properties, the Optima by Hatsan Striker Edge Vortex 4.5 mm is distinguished by a liquid and comfortable action, above average precision and high work culture.

Precision and high range

for the accuracy and repeatability of the shots are the threaded barrel with a length of 450 mm , thanks to which we can get a repetitive concentration after a short training. The fired shot reaches high initial speed approx. 250 m/s (below 17 j), thanks to which from the rifle we can also accurately shoot at greater distances .

Safety in the foreground

Safety is the most important thing in shooting, so after stretching the spring ("barrel fracture") there is automatic switching on the fuse , which prevents the uncontrolled shot from firing. Before firing the shot, turn off the fuse, which has been conveniently located in front of the trigger. This affects the exceptionally easy dispersion of a rifle, which can take place even without disturbing the aiming process.

Modern sights

The carabiner has been equipped with good -class fiber optic sights , i.e. a tunnel bow tie and an adjustable in vertical and level of Szczerbinka. Fiber options with contrasting (green and red) colors significantly accelerate the ripping of the bow tie and Szczerbinki, and thanks to high absorption of light, also allowing shooting in poor light. If we want to try our hand at a greater distance, we can also mount the selected optical sight on 11 mm rail.
