Optima by Hatsan Airtact Vortex 4.5 mm windbreaker

Optima by Hatsan Airtact 4.5 mm is a light spring and piston windbreaker, with a tactical butt, a pistol grip and an integrated sound muffler. The Vortex version has been additionally equipped with a gas spring that is noticeably reducing the recoil and improving accuracy.

Optima by Hatsan Airtact - a windbreaker with VORTEX gas spring

The rifle uses a threaded precision barrel Hatsan ARMS with a length of 370 mm, ended with an integrated sound silencer, which significantly reduces the sound of the shot without reducing energy and balance of a rifle.

The windbreaker has a Vortex gas spring , responsible for high work culture, reduced recoil and better accuracy. The Vortex Gas Piston system is based on a pneumatic cylinder, in which a gas mixture was used instead of a steel spring. At the time of pressing the trigger, the compressed gas sets a piston in motion, which corresponds to the compression of the air and the shot. Vortex provides a stable initial speed of the shot and a much longer life life of the pneumatic system in relation to the standard piston-spontaneous system.

The most felt effect by the shooter is the smaller recoil and the weight of the carabiner, lowering vibrations and the sound of the shot, and less effort associated with stretching the barrel. Thanks to such properties of carabiners, equipped with a Vortex spring is distinguished by a liquid and comfortable operation, above -average precision and a high work culture.

The spring stretch is carried out through the classic "barrel fracture" , a tension commonly recognized as the most convenient and most practical.
