Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 is a versatile hunting and sporting scope with an illuminated AR-BDC3 reticle in the second focal plane and a quick-throw zoom lever.

In the second generation of Vortex Strike Eagle scopes several key design improvements were introduced, allowing for faster target acquisition, shooting at both short and long distances (up to 595 m), and instant magnification changes after each shot.

Recoil- and weather-resistant construction

The one-piece tube is made from a single block of aircraft-grade aluminum 6061-T6, ensuring resistance to recoil, corrosion, and mechanical damage.

The anodized tube features a highly durable anti-reflective finish that prevents scratches and surface wear.

Precise sealing and nitrogen purging completely eliminate internal lens fogging and provide IPX7 protection, making the scope resistant to rain, snow, and submersion.

The 30 mm tube offers a wide range of vertical and horizontal adjustment (140 MOA), allowing for shooting at distances of up to 595 m.

External lenses are coated with durable ArmorTek, protecting against scratches, dirt, moisture, and oils.

This construction ensures the scope can be safely used in all weather conditions without risk of optical damage.

The eyepiece is equipped with a practical zoom lever, enabling quick magnification changes between shots.

Bright and sharp image

The scope uses XD low-dispersion glass lenses, providing excellent resolution and contrast. Another advantage of this glass is its relatively low density, which makes the optics lighter.

A standout feature of the Strike Eagle is its high light transmission, ensuring image brightness even in poor lighting conditions.

Fully multi-coated anti-reflective coatings are applied to all air-to-glass surfaces. As a result, the image is bright, sharp edge-to-edge, high in resolution, and color-accurate, with targets remaining clear even at 8x magnification.

Illuminated second focal plane reticle

The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8×24 features an illuminated AR-BDC3 reticle in the second focal plane. The reticle does not change size with magnification, ensuring it does not obscure the target.

The AR-BDC3 reticle accounts for the ballistics of .223 Rem ammunition.

Angular correction values are accurate at maximum magnification. At 1x magnification, the illuminated reticle functions like a red dot sight, enabling dynamic close-range shooting.

The aiming point offers 11 levels of illumination adjustment. The wide adjustment range allows comfortable use in any lighting conditions.

For maximum durability and reliability, the reticle is laser-etched and secured between two layers of glass.

The long eye relief (89 mm) allows the shooter’s eyes to remain relaxed without needing to adjust to the field of view. It also ensures comfortable use for eyeglass wearers and protects against recoil from high-caliber rifles.

Wide adjustment range

The reticle is adjusted via capped low-profile turrets with textured covers, allowing operation even with gloves. Each click moves the reticle by 1/2 MOA (14.55 mm/100 m). The full adjustment range is 140 MOA both vertically and horizontally.
