Hawke optical devices for crossbows are devices with uncompromising strength and performance, designed for shooting in challenging field conditions.
The Hawke XB30 Crossbow 2-7x32 SR is a single-piece 30 mm tube optical device made from matte anodized aviation aluminum. Thanks to its compact 239 mm design weighing 407 g, it does not noticeably increase the mass of the crossbow, enhancing user comfort and mobility. The wide-angle optical system is sealed and purged with dry nitrogen, preventing fogging even during sudden temperature changes. The waterproof and dustproof tube ensures reliable operation in all weather conditions throughout the device’s lifetime. The device is shock-resistant, making it safe to use on high-powered crossbows.
The element that determines the performance and versatility of the Hawke XB30 Crossbow 2-7x32 SR is undoubtedly the advanced reticle, designed for compound crossbows with different initial speeds. The device features a red and green illuminated XB30 SR reticle in the second focal plane, with adjustments for precise shooting from 18 to 91 m (zero at 18 m) and a fixed parallax at 46 m.
The reticle consists of thickened lateral arms with an analog rangefinder function and nine red and green illuminated cross points. On the eyepiece, there is a diopter adjustment ring and a locked knob (patent-pending) performing two functions: changing magnification and setting the speed of bolts fired from your crossbow. To precisely align the reticle with the crossbow, simply set the magnification/FPS ring to match your bolt parameters. After zeroing the reticle at 20 yards (18 m) and setting the initial FPS speed, the reticle indicators will accurately match the bolt trajectory. The XB30 SR reticle can also be used to estimate distance based on target size.
The device’s functionality is enhanced by a two-color LED backlight (red or green) with a 5-step brightness adjustment, allowing you to adapt the reticle’s brightness and color to lighting conditions and personal preference.
Magnification / FPS adjustment range:
The device features the H2 optical system with fully multi-coated anti-reflective lenses (11 layers). This improves clarity, provides a natural high-resolution image, and reduces chromatic aberration. Low-profile covered turrets have 1/2 MOA click adjustment. Full reticle adjustment range is 215 MOA vertically and 195 MOA horizontally. Standard polymer caps protect the lenses and eyepiece.
