With a compact 211 mm length and a weight of 368 g, the device does not noticeably increase the crossbow’s mass, enhancing user comfort and mobility. The wide‑angle optical system is sealed and nitrogen‑purged to prevent fogging even during sudden temperature changes. The device features an illuminated XB1 SR reticle in the second focal plane, with precision settings for distances from 18 to 91 m (zero at 18 m) and a fixed parallax set at 46 m.

The reticle consists of three thickened side posts with an analog rangefinder function, five red illuminated aiming crosses, and vertical holdover marks for longer‑range shooting. The eyepiece includes a diopter adjustment ring and a control knob performing two functions: magnification adjustment and FPS (initial bolt speed) setting. To precisely match the reticle to your crossbow, simply set the magnification/FPS ring according to your bolt parameters. After zeroing at 20 yards (18 m) and setting the FPS, the reticle indicators will accurately correspond to the bolt drop trajectory. The XB1 SR reticle can also be used for distance estimation based on target size.

The device features dual‑color LED illumination (red or green) with a 5‑level brightness adjustment, allowing the reticle brightness and color to be adapted to lighting conditions and personal preferences.
