The telescope has a one-piece tubus with a diameter of 25.4 mm made of anodized air aluminum with a matte finish. Due to the thorough sealing and filling of the telescope with dry nitrogen optics is resistant to the casting (internal foggy) and insensitive to weather conditions. The solid design of the telescope and the use of compensation assembly allow the use of optics also on strong high -energy spring windbreakers. The lenses are covered with an anti -reflective coating, which increases light transmission and provides a bright, sharp image image , also when shooting with weaker lighting. The eyeglass has a ring for precise focus. The telescope also has variable enlargement 4-16 × , thanks to which the shooter can choose between a wide field of view or an approximate image. The 40 mm lens provides good brightness and allows comfortable shooting in low light.

In the diana 4-16x40 target, the popular duplex sight network consisting of 4 thick arms, in the middle passing into thin hair lines. Duplex is one of the most popular sights, allowing both precise and quick shooting in changing lighting conditions. The mesh is adjusted with the indoor drums with a value of 0.25 MOA. The mesh can be illuminated in red or green.  The 40 mm lens provides good brightness and allows comfortable shooting in low light. Changing the drum setting confirms a clear and loud click, thanks to which we can precisely and efficiently correct the settings of the sights.

The lens uses a ring that allows smoothly compensating for parallax error in the range from 9.6 m to infinity. Correction of parallax allows precise image focus depending on the distance at which we shoot.
