Aluminum Frame

The aluminum body is coated with rubber featuring anti-slip ridges, improving grip and protecting the binocular from mechanical damage.

High Light-Transmission Anti-Reflective Coatings

The Kandar 12×42 uses prisms made of high-quality BK-4 glass and XR FMC anti-reflective coatings, providing high light transmission, sharp and high-resolution images, and natural color reproduction.

Thanks to the anti-reflective coatings and 42 mm objective lenses, the binocular delivers bright and clear images even in low light conditions.

The external surfaces of the lenses are coated with ArmorTek to protect the optics from dirt and scratches.

The 12× magnification allows comfortable handheld observation. The binocular also features a tripod mount (1/4") for maximum comfort during extended use. Twist-up eyecups and larger eye relief make it easier for eyeglass wearers to use the binocular.

Focus adjustment is done via the central focusing wheel on the bridge. The binocular has a diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece, allowing compensation for differences in vision between the left and right eyes.
