Tophunt WG-50 Plus is a digital night vision device with 6 × optical magnification, which, thanks to the IR illuminator, allows observation at distances up to 350 m in complete darkness.

The Tophunt WG-50 Plus is ideal for night wildlife observation, field games, construction site monitoring, property surveillance, etc. Unlike analog night vision devices, bright light does not affect the performance of the digital night vision.

The Tophunt WG-50 Plus features a sealed polymer IPX4 construction, weather-resistant, allowing safe use in rain, snow, or dusty environments. The device has a contoured grip for secure handling during observation and a 1/4" socket for stable tripod mounting. The WG-50 has a Weaver rail, enabling expansion of the device’s functionality, e.g., for mounting a laser rangefinder.

The Tophunt WG-50 Plus uses a sensitive CMOS sensor and anti-reflective coating to increase light transmission. The device has fixed 6 × optical magnification and 5 × digital zoom. The high-resolution sensor allows image enlargement without noticeable quality loss. For long-range observation, the device uses a 3 W IR illuminator with an 850 nm wavelength, allowing observation of objects in complete darkness up to 350 m. Night images are displayed in grayscale, while daytime images are in color. The adjustable IR beam and 6 × optical magnification provide high-quality images free of noise and distortions. The device features a 1.5" display with a 4° × 3.3° field of view and focus adjustment.

Tophunt WG-50 Plus — budget digital night vision for hunters and military enthusiasts

The Tophunt WG-50 Plus allows video recording at a maximum resolution of 1280 × 720 px at 30 FPS with sound, and photos up to 2592 × 1944 px. For recording, a micro SD card up to 64 GB can be used (not included). The device is also equipped with a Wi-Fi module, allowing remote viewing via a smartphone or tablet with the installed app.

The Tophunt WG-50 Plus digital night vision device is powered by 4 AA batteries (can be replaced with rechargeable cells), providing up to 3.5 hours of operation at high IR illumination (Wi-Fi off). The advantage of such power is availability and low cost. If spare batteries are forgotten, an external power bank can be connected via micro USB cable.
