PARD NV-008SP2 940 nm Digital Night Vision Scope is a compact hunting scope that can be used for both shooting and observation during the day and at night. The scope is equipped with an Imaging Engine module that delivers enhanced image quality — over 20% improvement compared to the NV008P model — and 5 ballistic profiles, allowing one night scope to be used on multiple rifles without the need for repeated zeroing.

Night scope with 6.5× optical magnification

The unit features a CMOS sensor and a high-grade OLED display of military specification, providing a resolution of 1440 × 1080 px and image clarity with reliable performance even at low temperatures. It supports full-color (daytime) observation or night mode, assisted by a 940 nm IR illuminator with 3-level brightness adjustment. The package includes a new extended Picatinny / Weaver / RIS rail mount that allows installation on different weapon models with this interface.

The optical magnification of 6.5× can be doubled, resulting in 13× digital magnification. The scope also offers a memory mode for 5 ballistic profiles with independent reticle color, type, and position settings, making it suitable for rifles of different calibers without the need for re-zeroing.

An additional Picatinny interface enables mounting an extra IR illuminator or other hunting accessories. Thanks to this functionality, the PARD NV-008SP2 night vision scope is a highly versatile and practical hunting device.

Modern night vision scope PARD NV-008SP2 

The adjustable 940 nm IR illuminator combined with the latest CMOS sensor with enhanced light sensitivity (20% higher than similar competitor models) ensures comfortable observation at distances of up to 500 m (in total darkness). The improved sensitivity also allows observation without using the IR illuminator, greatly reducing the risk of detection.

The PARD NV-008SP2 is operated via 5 buttons located on the top and side of the body, allowing easy operation even in complete darkness. It is powered by a replaceable 18650 battery that can be recharged inside the device via a USB-C port. The built-in port also enables extended runtime using an external power bank. Thanks to the stand-by mode (ready-to-use), the scope not only achieves longer operation time (up to 8 hours) but also instant start-up within ~1 second.

The manufacturer also included a video recorder function, enabling hunting footage to be saved in 1920 × 1080 FHD 30 fps format. The device has a Micro SD card slot supporting up to 128 GB cards. Users can also transfer recorded data via WiFi (WLAN).

Despite its lightweight and compact design (only 175 mm long), the PARD NV-008SP2 boasts impressive recoil resistance — up to 6000 J, making it safe for use with hunting rifles chambered in 9.3 × 62 and 375 H&H.
