A CO2 capsule is an excellent power source, providing high energy for the fired projectile. A single cartridge allows up to 60 shots with consistent muzzle velocity, depending on the model of airgun, replica, or RAM marker. Ambient temperature has a major impact on the number and quality of shots. The lower the temperature, the lower the performance. Remember that a pierced and unused capsule should be removed after 48 hours, as gas pressure may permanently damage the valve seals of the device.
