Ruger Superhawk with 6" Barrel is a replica revolver ASG in 6 mm BB caliber. It is a fully licensed model based on the firearm version by American company Ruger Sturm. The model is made almost entirely of metal, with only a few components made of plastic. A characteristic feature of the revolver is loading via a cylinder with a capacity of 8 BBs. Power is supplied by a 12 g CO2 capsule located in the grip of the replica. The presented version is in black.
The Ruger Superhawk features mechanical sights, including a micrometer rear sight and fixed front sight with a white dot for precise alignment. A 22 mm Picatinny rail on the front of the frame allows mounting additional shooting accessories such as laser sight, flashlight, or training device.
The replica is powered by a 12 g CO2 capsule installed in the grip. Compressed CO2 propels BBs up to 560 FPS. A quality CO2 cartridge allows approximately 60 consistent shots. Shot count depends on air temperature, shooting dynamics, and maintenance. A pierced CO2 cartridge can remain installed for up to 48 hours.
The revolver has a realistic loading system with a swing-out cylinder and speedloaders, where 6 mm BBs are inserted. After loading 8 BBs, insert the speedloader into the cylinder, cock the hammer, and the revolver is ready to fire.
The model uses a Double/Single Action (DA/SA) trigger mechanism, featuring short travel and low pull in Single Action. Advantages include simple construction and the ability to make precise shots without trigger jerk. In Double Action mode (hammer down), the travel is longer and pull heavier, but the shooter does not need to manually cock the hammer each time.
During transport or handling, the trigger mechanism can be locked using the adjustable safety located on the left side of the frame.
