Heckler & Koch MP5 K is a gas-powered replica with a blowback system, distinguished by high muzzle velocity, good shooting efficiency, and compact dimensions that make it easy to carry.
The replica is modeled after the German MP5 K-PDW submachine gun (shortened version), commonly used by police special units, border guards, and government protection services.
As in the original, the receiver, stock, and grip are made of durable polymer. Key components such as the inner barrel, trigger mechanism, CO2 valve, sling mount, and magazine are made of metal.
The pistol features a compact and lightweight design, weighing only 1635 g, making it ideal for close-quarters gameplay and as a “backup weapon.”
Thanks to the metal sling mount, a single-point tactical sling can be attached. The removable flash hider and handguard with integrated vertical grip are also borrowed from the original MP5.
The MP5 K is equipped with mechanical sights consisting of a fixed front sight and a diopter rear sight. The manual safety lever is positioned in the same place as in the original, allowing convenient locking of the trigger mechanism without changing grip.
The MP5 K replica is powered by a 12 g CO2 capsule installed in the rear part of the receiver (under a removable cover). Compressed carbon dioxide gives BBs energy of up to 2.5 J, enabling accurate shooting at distances of approximately 20–25 m.
A quality CO2 cartridge allows for about 80 consistent shots. The number of shots mainly depends on air temperature, rate of fire, and proper valve maintenance.
It should also be remembered that a pierced CO2 capsule may remain in the replica for no more than 48 hours. After that time, the used capsule should be removed or completely discharged. Installation and replacement are simple and require no tools.
After unscrewing the pressure screw, remove the 2 pins and detach the rear plate.
A key feature of the H&K Heckler&Koch MP5 K replica is its gas blow-back system. After each shot, the bolt moves dynamically backward, imitating the slide operation and recoil of a real firearm.
This functionality increases realism and provides greater shooting enjoyment.
The MP5 K fires in semi-automatic mode only. However, thanks to the 30-round BB magazine and an easy-to-control trigger mechanism, after brief training the shooter can achieve a firing rate of up to 180 rounds per minute.
The metal magazine holds 30 rounds of 6 mm BBs. The magazine follower can be locked in the lower position, allowing BBs to be loaded by gravity directly from a container.
The magazine release lever is located directly in front of the magazine, making removal and replacement convenient for both right- and left-handed users.
