Powerful recoil

The Heckler&Koch P8 replica is powered by green gas. Compressed propane propels 0.20 g BBs at a velocity of approximately 315 FPS and drives the movement of the metal slide. The gas blow-back system realistically replicates the recoil of a firearm. Each shot is accompanied by a solid “kick,” adding realism and shooting enjoyment. After the last BB is fired, the slide remains locked in the rear position, just like on a real firearm. The high muzzle velocity ensures an effective range of over 20 meters. The slide can be released by pressing the side lever or by slightly pulling it back. Slanted serrations on the slide facilitate racking.

The blow-back is powerful enough to be compared to the recoil of a rimfire firearm. Realism is further enhanced by the fact that after all BBs are fired, the slide stays in the rear position, clearly indicating an empty magazine. The slide is released by pressing the side lever or slightly pulling it back. The green gas reservoir is located in a metal magazine with a capacity of 23 BBs.

Safe operation

The replica features a left-side thumb safety which, in addition to blocking the trigger, also functions as a decocker. This mechanism allows the cocked hammer to be safely lowered without firing a shot.
