Glock 17 Gen.4 6 mm is a licensed ASG replica of the Austrian semi-automatic pistol based on a modern polymer frame. The model features faithful reproduction of the original firearm, a metal slide with a realistic Blow-Back system, Green Gas power source, and good ergonomics. The presented version is a full-size pistol in black.
The Glock 17 Gen.4 has been manufactured with special attention to structural details. It is based on a polymer frame fitted with a metal slide. The manufacturer ensured that not only the appearance but also the operation of the mechanisms closely replicates the original firearm. The model performs well as a sidearm.
The model is powered by Green Gas stored in a tank integrated into the magazine inserted into the grip. Gas operation enables semi-automatic fire and the use of a strong Blow-Back system. Additionally, the installed Hop-Up system is responsible for BB spin and stable flight. It should be noted that the number of shots depends on air temperature, firing dynamics, and proper maintenance. After shooting, it is recommended to leave a small amount of gas in the magazine.
The replica features a Blow-Back system responsible for realistic slide recoil after each shot. The noticeable “kick” imitates the effect of firing a real firearm. After the last BB is fired, the slide remains locked in the rear position.
The model uses a Single Action (SA) trigger mechanism characterized by short travel before the shot breaks and a light trigger pull. After racking the slide and firing the first shot, the firing mechanism is automatically cocked by the reciprocating slide. The advantage of this solution is its simple design and the ability to deliver precise shots without the risk of pulling off target.
The pistol features mechanical sights, consisting of a fixed front sight and rear sight with white dots for easier alignment. Additionally, the frame under the barrel includes a 22 mm Picatinny rail that allows installation of a laser aiming module, flashlight, etc.
The pistol is equipped with an automatic trigger safety in the form of an additional lever integrated into the trigger. The replica uses a grip-inserted magazine with a capacity of 23 BBs.
