Beretta PX4 Storm 6 mm is a licensed ASG replica of the Italian semi-automatic pistol, developed as an evolution of the Beretta Cougar. The model features faithful reproduction, a polymer construction with a moving slide, and a simple spring-powered system. The presented version comes in black. It is mainly dedicated to beginner airsoft enthusiasts.
PX4 Storm features a faithfully reproduced design highlighted by its polymer frame and slide. The original Beretta M9 pistol is intended for military, law enforcement, and civilian markets. The realism is further enhanced by licensed manufacturer markings and logos applied to the grip and slide.
The replica features a spring-powered mechanism, which requires manual cocking before each shot. This is done by firmly pulling the slide back, aided by aggressive serrations. The main advantages of the spring system include no additional operating costs, ease and reliability of use, and low sensitivity to weather conditions. Unlike green gas replicas, the spring version operates reliably even in winter conditions. Fired BBs reach a velocity of approximately 235 FPS and an effective range of up to 15 m.
The model uses a SA (single-action only) trigger mechanism characterized by a short trigger travel before the shot breaks. The advantage of this solution is its simple design and the ability to deliver precise shots without the risk of trigger pull disruption. After each shot, the pistol must be manually re-cocked.
The Beretta M9A3 features fixed, mechanical sighting devices consisting of a rear sight and front sight. At the front of the frame, there is a 22 mm Picatinny rail allowing the installation of additional shooting accessories such as a laser aiming device, tactical flashlight, or training unit.
The pistol is equipped with an adjustable frame-mounted wing safety. The replica uses a metal magazine inserted into the grip with a capacity of 102 BBs. The pistol features a fixed hop-up system that performs best when using 0.12 g / 0.20 g BBs, providing a flat trajectory and consistent accuracy.
