Beretta M9A3 Black FM 6 mm is a licensed premium-class ASG replica. It is a development version of the Italian semi-automatic pistol, the iconic M92 model, which until recently was used by the U.S. Army. This model features faithful reproduction, a metal slide with a strong Blow-Back system, CO2 power supply, and the possibility of partial disassembly. The presented version comes in black color.
M9A3 FM features a faithfully reproduced design, emphasized by the metal construction of the frame and slide. The original Beretta M9 is intended for military, law enforcement, and civilian markets. The polymer grip panels have the same texturing as in the firearm version. The realism is further enhanced by licensed manufacturer markings and logos applied to the grip and slide of the pistol.
The model is powered by a 12 g CO2 capsule installed in the magazine. Compressed carbon dioxide enables semi-automatic firing without the need to reload after each shot. A high-quality CO2 cartridge allows for approximately 60 consistent shots. The number of shots also depends on air temperature, shooting dynamics, and proper maintenance of the airgun. It should also be remembered that a pierced CO2 capsule may remain installed in the airgun for a maximum of 48 hours. The Beretta fires BBs at a muzzle velocity of 344 FPS, which is an excellent result for a replica with a metal moving slide. The number of shots depends mainly on air temperature and firing dynamics. It also features a Hop-Up system responsible for accuracy and shot range.
The model uses a single/double action (DA/SA) trigger mechanism characterized by a short travel before the shot breaks and relatively low resistance. The main advantage of this solution is the ability to deliver precise shots without the risk of pulling off target. When firing with the hammer lowered (DA), the trigger has a longer travel and greater resistance (this is significant due to the presence of a decocker in the firearm version).
The gas-powered design made it possible to implement a strong Blow-Back system responsible for realistic slide recoil after each shot. The noticeable “kick” of the pistol pleasantly imitates the effect of firing a real firearm. One capsule allows for up to 60 shots at consistent muzzle velocity.
Beretta M9A3 features fixed mechanical sighting instruments, consisting of a rear and front sight with distinct white dots that facilitate quick alignment. At the front of the frame, there is a 22 mm Picatinny rail, allowing the installation of additional shooting accessories such as a laser target marker, tactical flashlight, or training device.
The pistol has an adjustable safety in the form of a wing lever located on the slide, easily accessible with the thumb. The replica uses a metal magazine inserted into the grip with a capacity of 22 BBs.
