Beretta M9 6 mm is a licensed ASG replica of the Italian semi-automatic pistol, an evolved version of the iconic M92 model that was used by the U.S. Army until recently. The model features faithful reproduction, a polymer-and-metal construction, a Blow-Back system, and Green Gas power. The presented version is black.
The M9 features a faithfully reproduced design highlighted by a polymer frame and metal slide. In its original form, the Beretta is intended for both civilian and military markets. The polymer grip panels have the same texturing as the firearm version. Realism is further enhanced by licensed markings and logos applied to the grip and slide.
The Beretta M9 replica is powered by green gas. Compressed propane propels 0.20 g BBs at approximately 330 FPS and drives the movement of the metal slide. The high muzzle velocity also provides an extended effective range of over 20 m. It should be noted that the performance of green-gas-powered replicas is significantly affected by ambient temperature and shooting cadence.
The model uses a Single/Double Action (DA/SA) trigger mechanism characterized by a short travel to the shot break and a light trigger pull. The main advantage is the ability to deliver precise shots without the risk of pulling off target. In Double Action (DA) with the hammer down, the trigger features a longer pull and heavier resistance (relevant when a decocker is present on the firearm version).
Gas operation allows the use of a powerful Blow-Back system responsible for realistic slide recoil after each shot. The noticeable “kick” pleasantly mimics the experience of firing a real firearm. After the last BB is fired, the slide remains locked to the rear, just like on a real pistol.
The Beretta is equipped with fixed mechanical sights consisting of a rear sight and front sight with clear white dots for easy alignment. At the front of the frame, under the cover, there is a Picatinny 22 mm rail allowing the mounting of additional shooting accessories such as a laser aiming module, tactical flashlight, or training device.
The pistol features a manual safety in the form of a lever located on the slide, easily accessible without removing the hand from the grip. The replica uses a grip-inserted magazine with a capacity of 24 BBs.
