Heckler&Koch G3 6 mm is a faithfully reproduced gas-powered replica with a Gas Blow Back system, manufactured similarly to the original, i.e. from steel and polymer.
The manufacturer of the Heckler&Koch G3 is the renowned company VFC, whose products are known for high-quality materials, excellent finish, and smooth operation.
The HK G3 is an automatic rifle that, thanks to its reliability and accuracy, was adopted by nearly 50 countries, including the German Bundeswehr, where it served as a standard-issue weapon until 1997.
The high quality of workmanship is emphasized by the production method using stamped steel sheets and a pin-assembled design, which makes the partial disassembly process identical to that of the original firearm. This construction ensures high durability and facilitates maintenance.
In addition to the body, the iron sights, magazine, charging handle, barrel, and internal gas system components are also made of steel. The stock, pistol grip, and handguard are polymer, just like in the real firearm. The stock and handguard feature sling attachment points.
The rifle is powered by a green gas mixture, generating a muzzle velocity of approximately 330 fps. A tight and reliable gas system ensures trouble-free operation and realistic performance of the Gas Blow Back system, which effectively mimics the firearm’s mechanics during firing.
The pronounced bolt recoil during shooting, felt as a solid “kick to the shoulder,” is significantly stronger than ebb (electric blowback) and is sure to delight any airsoft enthusiast. The green gas reservoir is located in the removable magazine.
The Heckler&Koch G3 features a precisely adjustable hop-up mechanism, responsible for giving the BB a flat flight trajectory. Access to the adjustment is gained by pushing out the front pin and removing the polymer handguard.
The rifle is fed from a steel real-cap magazine with a capacity of 20 BBs. Real-cap (or low-cap) magazines are very popular among players who value realism and, unlike hi-cap magazines (high-capacity), real-cap magazines do not rattle while moving.
The magazine can be released in two ways, identical to the original — using either the lever or the button. The magazine includes a cut-off switch that prevents dry firing.
The Heckler&Koch G3 uses classic iron sights in the form of a fixed front sight and a rear diopter sight with 3 adjustment settings.
