How to assemble the Rusan adapter for a hunting clip-on

The first step is to choose a reduction ring that fits your night vision/thermal device (available in a separate offer). Next, select an adapter size that matches the external diameter of your riflescope’s lens. Adapters are made in 1 mm increments, therefore to ensure proper accuracy, it is recommended to use a caliper. Remember, you measure the external diameter of the riflescope’s lens. A complete adapter that enables mounting the clip-on on the riflescope consists of a reduction ring and a clamp adapter of the size corresponding to the external diameter of the scope lens.

How to properly connect a night vision/thermal clip-on with a daytime optical scope?

After tightening the reduction ring to the clamp adapter, the complete adapter should be slid onto the riflescope’s lens and locked with the QR lever. A precisely fitted adapter overlaps about 6 mm onto the riflescope’s lens. The large clamping surface guarantees a rigid and secure connection with the scope and resistance to the recoil of high-caliber hunting rifles. Mounting takes only a few seconds and can be easily performed even in the field. It is worth noting that the clamp of each adapter allows fine adjustment within 0.2 mm, and its interior is coated with a special film that protects the optics from scratches and reinforces connection rigidity. The final step is attaching the night vision or thermal clip-on to the adapter and locking it with the ring. Each Rusan adapter is compatible with Weaver rail mounts (available separately).
