LED tactical flashlight Fenix PD35 V3.0 Green

Fenix PD35 V3.0 is the third generation of the popular tactical flashlight for uniformed services and military enthusiasts. After the modernization of the optical system, the flashlight has a stream of 1700 lumens , its range increased to 375 m, it was also equipped with functional additions in the form of a battery level indicator, lace protecting optics and a battery loaded by a USB port.

Durable construction

Tubus of the flashlight was made from anodized aluminum A6061-T6 HA-III, which guarantees high strength to damage and solidity of the structure. Thanks to the transverse milestick of the surface, the flashlight does not slip from the hand, and its grip is well noticeable. The mileted surface facilitates and accelerates the heat rewarding, which the diode produces during operation. The optical system is protected by a serrated crown, which also allows the use of a flashlight for self -defense techniques. The flashlight is compact and convenient to use and wear. Its length is 134 mm , and the weight without batteries is only 84 g, thanks to which it can accompany us in everyday and outdoor activity. Thanks to the titanium clip, the flashlight can be quickly attached to the waist, backpack or tactical vest. Two switches were used to operate the flashlight: rear- responsible for the activation of solid and side light- to change the modes and activation of Strobo.

Tactical dishes

The light source is new generation Luminus SFT40 LED , generating maximum light stream of 1700 lumens for 85 minutes! The human eye receives "cold light" as stronger, which is why it works best for illuminating the terrain, distant objects, as well as dazzling the attacker.

The optical system has also been modernized, the new version consists of a convex lens and a small reflector with a smooth surface, which results in an increase in the range of almost 50% compared to other flashlights with inch head. Thanks to this design, the stream is perfectly concentrated and its range reaches up to 357 m! Light parameters allow for precise lighting of distant objects and effective work in patrol activities, thanks to which the Fenix PD35 V3.0 is great as a tactical flashlight and EDC lighting.

Operating modes with easy support

The user has at his disposal 5 permanent light modes : turbo, high, medium, low and flash: strobo.  Two buttons are used to operate the flashlight i.e. The rear switch responsible for turning on/ off the flashlight and temporary light, and a side switch for activation of Strobo and changing the level of brightness. This functionality means that the flashlight Fenix PD35 V3.0 is extremely friendly to use , thanks to which it works great in the activities of uniformed services and hunting.

The battery with charging through the USB port

Fenix PD35 V3.0 is powered by the innovative Fenix Arb-L18-2600U 18650 (set), which after full charging provides up to 230 hours of operation (in ECO mode). The battery has a built-in micro-USB charging port. This practical and convenient solution allows you to charge the cell without the need for an external charger. For charging, we only need a micro-USB cable (included) and a source of electricity, e.g. power bank, laptop, desktop computer or car charger with USB. The USB battery not only saves money (on the purchase of a charger), primarily provides comfort, independence and mobility. An alternative to the 18650 battery are disposable CR123 batteries, which are usually used in the winter due to the resistance to low temperatures and no unloading effect.

Battery level indicator

When working or hunting, it is worth controlling the battery condition, which is why the Fenix PD35 V3.0 flash is used to use the indicator informing about the power level of the power cell.  The LED in the side switch for 3 seconds from the activation of the flashlight informs about the battery level.
Attention! The indicator works only with batteries from the Fenix ARB-L18 series. An equally useful function is a warning with a low battery voltage, which reminds you of the need to charge or replace the cell.

Battery level indications:

• Permanent green light: 100-85%,
• flashing green light: 85-50%,
• Permanent red light: 50-25%,
• flashing red light: 25-1%.

Functions Additional

The flashlight remembers the last used brightness level . After turning on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function).  The flashlight has a high class protection class IP68 , so it is resistant to dust, dust, full of water immersion at a depth of 2 m and a fall from a height of 1 m. The manufacturer has not forgotten about the use of protection against overheating and inverted polarization and a controller with digital current regulation.

Light parameters were tested using the Arb-L21-2600U battery.
