The Fenix PD36R V2.0 flashlight body is made of the air aluminum , subjected to the hardcore anodizing process of HA-III, thanks to which the tubus and the head of the flashlights are resistant to scratches, wiping and corrosion in the most adverse conditions. Texturing the body and its geometric profile prevent the flashlight from slipping from the hand, and provide excellent adhesion. The model also uses the two -way steel clip allowing not only to attach the flashlight on the equipment, but also on the hat, thanks to which PD36R can also perform the function of improvised headlamp .

The light source is the new generation LED luminus sst -40 , emitting maximum light stream of 1700 lumens over a distance of up to 396 m . The cool-neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color reproduction and greater detail. Due to the tactical character in the flashlight, the Smooth Smo reflector was used, ensuring a concentrated stream of light with a heavily lit center center.

The user has at his disposal 6 light modes : turbo, high, medium, low, eco and strobo, thus enabling the lighting to be adapted to your needs. It is worth emphasizing that total work time of the flashlight - taking into account the cooling periods required for safe work - in turbo mode 1700 lumens is nearly 3 hours.  This is the result of the use of a modern diode with a relatively low current consumption and a very efficient battery.

The flashlight is powered by 21700 cell with a powerful capacity of up to 5000 mAh ! The battery used has twice the capacity than the standard 18650 cell, which obviously translates into huge performance and impressive working time . In addition, thanks to the battery level indicator (LED in the side switch) and a low -voltage warning, we can control the work of the flashlight and manage the remaining energy supply. After each switching on the flashlight, the indicator informs us about the state of the battery for 3 seconds. PD36R has a built-in USB-C charging port , allowing for very fast charging of the cell. The nest is protected against moisture, water and rubber dust.

PD36R is equipped with two switches: main (rear) and side to change modes . The tactical button activates temporary light and constant lighting, in addition, its location allows for convenient operation in a coordinated grip using short weapons. The steel side button is responsible for changing the brightness of light and switching on strobo. Thanks to the memory function, after another activation of the flashlight, the recently used light mode is selected.

Several security systems used in the flashlight, among others Protection against inverted polarization, low voltage warning and "intelligent protection" against overheating.  High protection class IP68 causes that the flashlight is resistant to total immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 2 m), dust and dirt and fall.  Fenix PD36R is a professional tactical flashlight that combines excellent light parameters, long working time and functionality into one reliable tool of small size.
