If you are looking for a compact and versatile light source for outdoor applications, HM16 will be a great choice. All thanks to the lightweight design, a modern SST20 diode emitting a maximum stream of 450 lumens, easy operation with two enlarged buttons and a disconnected band, which not only perfectly escorts sweat, but also makes us more visible after dark.

Fenix HL16 has a light and durable corps from German PC plastic, which is why the flashlight is resistant to a fall from a height of 1.5 m. The headlamps will meet the norm of protection IP66 , which means that it is resistant to the penetration of dust, moisture and can be used even in intense rain. Comfortable wearing a flashlight on the head is provided by a perforated elastic band, which efficiently drains sweat outside, and also increases our visibility after dark, thanks to the use of reflective inserts effectively reflecting the lighting of the flashlight, vehicle, etc.

The main light source is the new generation LED Luminus SST20 , emitting the maximum light stream 450 lumens at a distance of up to 104 m! The neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, ensures more natural color rendering and better visibility of details. The Fenix HL16 flashlight also uses red light (LED 2835) , which perfectly checks in night activities, because unlike white light does not blind the user, it ensures smooth adaptation of sight to see in the dark, facilitates work with maps and limits our visibility.

The user has at his disposal 4 white light light modes and 2 red light modes (permanent and sauce). All activities related to the Fenix HL16 support, i.e. switching on, off and changing the modes are held using 2 enlarged buttons located on the top of the flashlight. This guarantees high comfort of use and allows the flashlight to handle gloves. The flashlight also remembers the last used brightness level (except for turbo mode). After turning on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function). During transport, the flashlight can be blocked by passing into the so -called lock mode. For this purpose, it is enough to press the top 2 buttons for 3 seconds. This protects against accidental lighting of light and uncontrolled battery exhaustion.

The flashlight is used widely available and inexpensive AAA batteries, which provide 3 hours of turbo mode (total time) or up to 100 hours in economical low mode (5 lumens).  

The presented parameters were obtained in laboratory conditions. During the tests, AAA alkaline batteries were used.
