Battery power supply of the BC21R V-3.0

Power supply with the power source is 18650 battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh , which after charging provides almost 10 hours of operation in 600 lumens mode , or up to 132 minutes in Turbo 1200 Lumens (total work) mode. The battery is charged through the built-in USB-C port , so we don't have to worry about buying an additional charger. High charging current 2 A allows you to completely charge the attached battery in just 2 hours. It is worth emphasizing that during charging we can use the flashlight (only low and medium mode), although this will of course affect the extended battery charging time. The level of battery charge can be controlled thanks to the LED diode in the switch, which in a simple and legible way informs us about the state of energy (the function works only with 18650 batteries from the Fenix ARB-L18 series). To supply the flashlight, we can alternatively use disposable CR123A batteries. 

Four functional levels of light

Fenix BC21R V3.0 offers 4 Continuous light modes : Low → Medium → High → Turbo → Turbo and flash with a stream of 400 lumens. One metal button is used to turn on/ off and brightness changes, which also activates the battery level indicator. Simple and intuitive service is an undoubted advantage of a bicycle flashlight, especially in city agglomerations with high traffic severity.

The memory of the last light mode

Flashlight remembers the last used brightness level . After turning on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function). A warning with a low battery condition is automatically activated after a decrease in the defined voltage level (pulsating battery level diode). The flashlight also uses overheating protection in turbo mode. For the security of electronics, after reaching 60 ° C, the controller automatically reduces the brightness by several lumens, which allows you to re -enable turbo mode.
