Viper HD 3000 laser rangefinder is a reliable measuring tool, with delightful HD optics, which allows you to quickly and precisely track the goal away from 2743 m.
Vortex Viper HD 3000 is Laser Fighter Field Deput prime minister with an impressive range of up to 2743 m , intended for hunters, Long Shot shooters and people looking for a device for precise distance measurement. VIPER HD 3000 MA 4 Measurement modes (normal, first, last, ELR) and two ways to measure the distance (fate, HCD), which allow you to give any accurate shot in the field with different slopes.
VORTEX laser rangefinder - a precise hunting rangefinder with a lifetime VIP warranty h2>
Vortex Viper HD 3000 has retained a compact and relative light construction weighing only 258 g, thanks to which this precise device can be conveniently moved on the neck or on the belt using a spring clip. The rangefinder has a aluminum body with rubber armor , which protects sensitive optics from damage in the event of a fall and provides a stable and comfortable grip. The device has a diopter adjustment on the right eye and a standard Gwent for attachment on a tripod . The use of a rangefinder for a rangefinder stabilization increases the possibilities of measuring small objects, especially over a greater distance.
The rangefinder is waterproof and can be used in difficult conditions, thanks to the accurate sealing of the structure, which prevents the penetration of moisture, dust and impurities.
Viper HD 3000 MA Crystal clear image regardless of the lighting conditions that owes the use of the HD Vortex optics system covered with multi -layer XR plus coatings. Anti-reflective coatings have been applied to all air-glass surfaces, which affects high light transmission and ensures image brightness also in low light. HD optics have exceptional resolution, effectively reduces chromatic aberration, provides faithful color reproduction and sharpness of the field of view to the edge.
The lenses protect against outlines and dirt of ultratward, resistant to scratching Armamet coating .
Measurement results are broadcast on the TOLED display with increased light transmission, optimized for the use of a rangefinder in low light. contrasting red backlight are great when you want to measure a dark target. Optical system by 7 × enlargement has wide fields of view ensuring comfortable observation and tracking of moving objects.
The biggest advantages of the device include a powerful range of over 2,700 m (maximum measurement range for a target that reflects a laser beam) and unprecedented measurement accuracy in the range of 0.9 m. The 25 mm diameter lens has a angular field of view of 6 °, and the minimum measurement distance is only 5 meters.
Measurement parameters Viper HD 3000 :
- Maximum measurement range for objects well reflecting the laser beam: 2743 m
- Measurement range for less objects reflecting a laser beam, e.g. trees, rocks: 2103 m
- measurement range for objects poorly reflecting laser beam, e.g. deer: 1829 m HCD angle compensation (Horizontal Component Distance) enabling a precise shot at critical distances. It is also worth emphasizing that Vortex Viper HD 3000 has a simple and intuitive menu, which takes a few minutes to master. Only 2 buttons are used to operate the device, i.e. a measurement switch and a button activating the rangefinder menu. The measurement is expressed in 2 units, i.e. in meters or yards.
The CR123 battery was used to power the device, which provides up to 4,000 single measurements . Battery replacement is simple and does not require tools, thanks to the flip -flip flip flip flip.
When the battery level drops to 25%, a notification appears on the display, which reminds you to change the power source. The user can also choose from 3 factory defined automatic switching off (15, 30 and 60 seconds) and 5 levels of display brightness.
Vortex Viper HD 3000 offers the following measurement modes:
first - calculates the distance from the target in the foreground
Normal - displays the distance of the actual aiming point
last - displays the distance to the object in the background
ELR - for measuring distances at the highest distances
HCD - distance measurement mode to the target on the same plane as the rangefinder
fate - Angle compensation mode for cooperation with a ballistic calculator.
How to use the range of rangefinders? h2>
Normal - the rangefinder after switching is factory set in normal mode. It is a standard mode for most applications, providing precise measurement of heavily distant objects.
First Mode - mode intended for measuring smaller purposes, which, e.g. animals located in front of the forest wall, or objects more reflecting light
last mode - high-distance measurement mode, ideal for tracking a small goal behind a group of large objects, e.g. animals behind trees, rocks, etc.
EXTENDED Laser Range (ELR -TREB MEASURE with an increased laser range) - allows you to track small -distant goals that have a laser radius less. ELR is recommended when normal mode does not allow us to make proper measurement. In ELR mode, the measurement time is longer. To get a precise reading, it is recommended to use a rangefinder on a tripod.
fate (The Line from Sight) - a special measurement mode intended for Long Shot shooters, who shoot at distances above 457 meters (500 yards) in the field with a slope greater than 15 degrees, using tables, calculators or ballistic applications correcting the precipitation. Measurement of range in fate mode is measured without a ballistic correction to the inclination of the area. Most ballistic applications and calculators provide independent inclination correction for the bullet rainfall, which is why they require a real distance to indicate. When shooting on a long distance in a steep terrain, the fate mode allows you to calculate the bullet correction on the wind with a much higher accuracy than using HCD measurement.
HCD- is a basic mode used in shooting and archery. The measurement expresses the actual distance to the target on the same plane as the shooter. The displayed HCD distance is corrected with a shot angle and does not require additional corrections by the shooter. Use of HCD mode:
- Shooting from a rifle on an equal ground on any distance
- Shooting from a rifle over a distance up to 640 m (800 yards) in the field with a mild slope (less than 15 degrees)
- shooting from a rifle to a distance of 366 m (400 yards) in a moderate slope (from 15 to 30 degrees)
- Archery shooting
