Vortex CrossFire 1400 is a laser rangefinder with HD optics for sports shooters and hunters, which allows you to quickly and precisely track the goal away even about 1280 m .
Vortex CrossFire 1400 to laser rangefinder with a high range above 1200 m , designed for people looking for a device for precise distance measurement. CrossFire 1400 MA 3 Measurement modes: Normal, First, Last, and Two ways to measure the distance (fate, HCD), which allow you to give any accurate shot in the field with different slopes.
VORTEX laser rangefinder - a precise hunting rangefinder with a lifetime VIP warranty h2>
Vortex CrossFire 1400 has a compact and ultra lightweight structure weighing only 136 g, thanks to which this precise device can be conveniently moved on the neck or on the belt using a elastic clip. The rangefinder has plastic body with a non -slip texture , which provides a stable and comfortable grip.
The rangefinder is waterproof and can be used in difficult conditions, thanks to the accurate sealing of the structure, which prevents the penetration of moisture, dust and impurities.
vortex crossfire 1400 has crystal clear image regardless of the lighting conditions that owes the use of the HD Vortex optics system covered with multi -layered XR coatings . Anti-reflective coatings have been applied to all air-glass surfaces, which affects high light transmission and ensures image brightness also in low light. HD Optics has a unique resolution, effectively reduces chromatic aberration, ensures faithful color reproduction and sharpness of the field of view to the edge.
lenses Measurement results are broadcast on the TOLED display with increased light transmission, optimized for the use of a rangefinder in low light. contrasting red backlight are great when you want to measure a dark target. Optical system with 5 × enlargement has wide fields of view ensuring comfortable observation and tracking of moving objects. The biggest advantages of the device include a powerful range of over 1280 m (maximum measurement range for a target that reflects a laser beam) and unprecedented measurement accuracy in the range of 0.9 m. The 21 mm lens has a angular field of view of 7 °, and the minimum measurement distance is only 4.5 meters. Vortex CrossFire 1400 measurement parameters:
(Horizontal Component Distance) enabling a precise shot at critical distances. It is also worth emphasizing that the Vortex Vortex Crossfire 1400 has a simple and intuitive menu, which takes a few minutes to master. Only 2 buttons are used to operate the device, i.e. a measurement switch and a button activating the rangefinder menu. The measurement is expressed in 2 units, i.e. in meters or yards.
The CR2 battery was used to power the device, which provides up to 1000 single measurements. To extend the battery life, the rangefinder automatically turns off after 20 seconds of lack of activity. Battery replacement is simple and does not require tools, thanks to the flip -flip flip flip flip.
When the battery level drops to 25%, a notification appears on the display, which reminds you to change the power source. The user can adjust the backlight level by selecting from 5 levels of brightness.
Vortex CrossFire 1400 offers the following measurement modes:
Normal - displays the distance of the actual aiming point
first - calculates the distance from the target in the foreground
last - displays the distance to the object in the background
HCD - distance measurement mode to the target on the same plane as the rangefinder
fate - Angle compensation mode for cooperation with a ballistic calculator.
How to use the range of rangefinders? h2>
Normal - the rangefinder after switching is factory set in normal mode. It is a standard mode for most applications, providing precise measurement of heavily distant objects.
First Mode - mode intended for measuring smaller purposes, which, e.g. animals located in front of the forest wall, or objects more reflecting light
last mode - high-distance measurement mode, ideal for tracking a small goal behind a group of large objects, e.g. animals behind trees, rocks, etc.
fate (The Line from Sight) - a special measurement mode intended for Long Shot shooters, who shoot at distances above 457 meters (500 yards) in the field with a slope greater than 15 degrees, using tables, calculators or ballistic applications correcting the precipitation. Measurement of range in fate mode is measured without a ballistic correction to the inclination of the area. Most ballistic applications and calculators provide independent inclination correction for the bullet rainfall, which is why they require a real distance to indicate. When shooting on a long distance in a steep terrain, the fate mode allows you to calculate the bullet correction on the wind with a much higher accuracy than using HCD measurement.
HCD- is a basic mode used in shooting and archery. The measurement expresses the actual distance to the target on the same plane as the shooter. The displayed HCD distance is corrected with a shot angle and does not require additional corrections by the shooter. Use of HCD mode:
- Shooting from a rifle on an equal ground on any distance
- Shooting from a rifle over a distance up to 640 m (800 yards) in the field with a mild slope (less than 15 degrees)
- shooting from a rifle to a distance of 366 m (400 yards) in a moderate slope (from 15 to 30 degrees)
- Archery shooting
