Construction

Fenix LR50R is the latest distance stagger that connects impressive light parameters, great functionality in a device with a relatively low weight and dimensions.

The 163 mm long body is made of air aluminum finished in the HAIII anodizing process, forming a durable protective coating with high resistance to scratches and wiping.

The transverse head of the head acts as a heat sink, whose task is to drain excess heat, secreted by a team of 4 powerful emitters LED . The massive head is finished with an elevated steel ring that allows vertical settings of the flashlight without the risk of damage to the optical system. Milling the body improves the adhesion and grip of the flashlight and gives it a modern style. Thanks to the flat base, the flashlight can be placed vertically (the "candle" function) and efficiently illuminated the interior of an explored object or cave. In the back there is a clip for attaching a leash or protective cable. The flashlight has an additional metal load -bearing hook, which after unscrewing reveals a threaded socket compatible with standard photographic triplets.

Impressive light parameters have been achieved thanks to the use of 4 Cree SST70 diodes and smooth reflectors that reflect the world with a stream of up to 12,000 lumens at a distance of up to 950 m. This distance corresponds to a length of 8 full -size football fields. Tempered fast with a permeability of 98% was covered with anti -reflective coating, thus limiting light losses to a minimum. A powerful 75 ° width stream can be used in search and rescue activities, exploration and extreme tourism and monitoring of facilities.

  Intelligent proximity sensor

  In the flashlight an intelligent sensor was used, which automatically recognizes when the head is too close to the ground, after exceeding the ground and after the surface is over illuminating it for 1.5 seconds, the flashlight automatically reduces the level of brightness (to ECO modes).

  Comfort of use

  The flashlight is distinguished by a very simple and convenient to use interface, divided into main and additional modes, for activation and change of light modes are used by separate steel buttons with high responsiveness and resistance to mechanical damage.

  The location of switches on the side of the flashlight (under the thumb) causes that the use and change of light parameters is very intuitive and comfortable.

  Fenix LR50R also has a lock function , protecting against uncontrolled lighting of light during transport. To do this, press and hold the switches for 3 seconds at the same time. Turning off the blockade requires taking the same steps.

  A great convenience is the diode indicator informing about the condition of the battery , activated by a single click of any switch (flashlight off).

    Capacious battery and USB-C port allow the flashlight perform the Power Bank function, thanks to which in a crisis situation we can a dowlined phone or PMR radio.  The sockets are protected against moisture , rain and dust with airtight rubber plugs.

    For the sake of safety and proper functioning of the Fenix LR50R has protection against overheating, protection against inverted polarization and warning with a low level of battery .

    The flashlight has a high degree of protection IP68 , which means that it is completely resistant to dust and dust, small permanent bodies, full immersion in water (for 30 minutes to a depth of 2 m) and a fall from 1 meter.

    All lighting parameters and flashlight strength are in line with the ANSI/Plato FL1 standards .

    The presented parameters were obtained in laboratory conditions. During the tests, the Fenix ARB-L37-12000 battery was used.
